allow a rule that allows racers who although have won a national championship, do not consider their self a pro and have the approval of the participating track owners, to be considered amateur and receive points. (only necessary if pro's to get points dont pass)

(Edited by ddub)doesn't anybody wanna play for blood....
This is the Texas series. We don't care what the rest of the world does.
So, forget this pro and amature crap and lets just race. OR, we set up a spec style class, drop one of the boxstock classes and let new beginners race in it. No "Pro's".
Only allow someone to collect points and parts money in the last two classes they run that weekend. So if someone runs nascar, flexi, gtp.usra, and c-12, they only get the points in usra and c-12. No pro or am status until we get to big.........................Turn off the Choke
I think you should have a rule that you can not get points for any CLASS you won. So in other words, once you are This years CLASS Campion, you can not defend it. You have to wait one year to try and win it again.
So that way you could compete every other year for a class you love to race.
We are not the USRA and what you win there should not count in the TSRA.
Nat's is once a year, and the TSRA is SERIES of races that you get POINTS for! Duh!
