Five years ago, on 4/28/2007, we held the \"2nd First\" retro Can-Am race in Texas! I know, what the heck is a \"2nd First\"? Well, it was the FIRST retro race scheduled and it was INTENDED to be the first retro race in Texas, but guys got cars ready quicker than I expected and didn\'t want to wait until 4/28, so the actual first Texas retro race was held in March of 2007. Hence, the 4/28/2007 race was the \"2nd First\" retro race in Texas. I provided BBQ sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, box plaques and commemorative t-shirts for that race, along with BOWLING TROPHIES for the podium. Anyway, I digress. To commemorate the 5th anniversary of retro racing in Texas, there will be a retro F-1 race followed by a retro Can-Am race at Ranger Raceway... on 4/28/2012, EXACTLY 5 years to the day since that \"2nd First\" race! We are planning on providing good food to go along with the good racing. More details to follow once we figure out those details. LOL Hope to see you all there!
