2011-2012 Rules (publish date 6-22-2011)
Any changes made to rules after the publish date will be underlined
Starting Times:
Starting times will be strictly enforced.

Entry Fee:
11.00 per class with 2.00 going to trophy fund = ***9.00 to the track, 2.00 to the trophy fund***

Track Condition:
Track must be cleaned and spray glued before event, once practice has started on Friday, no cleaning or adding glue may be done to the racing surface, only the braid may be cleaned pryor to each classes qualifing.
Qualifing:
1 minute qualifing per person, 30 secs in between qualifing drivers, qualifing position will determine starting position in the main. example: 1-8 fastest qualifiers will race in one main, 9-16 will be in another main etc.
Series Championship:
Racers must drop 2 races.

2nd 27
3rd 25
4th on down 1 point less for each position
Concours:
Will be judged by John, Gwen, Rhett or Track Owner. Criteria for GTR and Lmp is scale appearing, GTP is just judged on the paint scheme.
Stamped Steel Flexi Rules:
Legal modifications
1. Pin tubes or clips
2. Rear pillow block brace
3. Tape may be added for tuning
4. May add lead weight
5. May Solder in Motor, Rear Axle Bushings, Front Axle, and Bracing
6. May enlarge front axle upright holes to set axle height, but must still comply with track clearance rules.
7. Front wheels must rotate on their axle, May add camber to the front axle, front wheels must be mounted so as to contact the track surface as the car is rocked side to side, before grounding the chassis.
8. May run same manufactures lightweight replacement pan and Parma Hot Wing.
9. You may use a guide brace and gear guard, must not be made from wire
10. May run split front axles ie:Cheetah 11 3 piece chassis.
11. May tie 3 piece Cheetah 11 chassis together with a piece of piano wire
12. BITE BAR: May change size, material and may solder bite bar to chassis
Scratchbuilt Chassis Rules:
1. Must be made from Brass and Piano wire.
2. Must conform to same Dimensions as Flexi Chassis ie: width, length, wheelbase.
3. Legal for all classes.
4. Guide tongue may be made from steel 1 1/2 inch max length past front of main chassis plate, 1/2 inch max width past front of main chassis plate, base maybe up to 1 inch wide for more solder contact area.
5. May use Laser Cut, EDM, WaterJet Parts.
6. Cut down guides legal for scratch built only.
Technical Specs:
1. .0625 chassis clearance on banked tracks, .050 on flat tracks.
2. .815 Max tire width
3. 3.25 Max chassis width
4. No hollow axles front or rear
5. Bushings or Ball Bearings legal for all classes
6. .047, .055, .0625, 3/32 front axle
7. Plastic spur gears only.
Bodies:
1. See Approved Body List.
2. Bodies must be opaque on all sides, and have clear windows, and clear wheel wells.
3. Must have 3 numbers.
4. Must have Full three dimensional driver for GTR
5. May not add air control to any body.
6. Can use paper drivers for closed cockpit LMP and GTP bodies
GTR:
1. Motors: Falcon 7, Slick 7 Mini Brute, Kelly Bullet, Playfit Cheetah, TSR
2. Any solid axle
3. Any Pitch Plastic spur gears
4. 5/8 fronts, no thingies
5. Body Rules
Must have 3 numbers and painted 2 color driver
Bodies must be cut on cut line. No lowered or raked bodies. Rear of body may be cutout to within 1/4" of back edges or corners.
Jaguar, Cadillac & GTO will be allowed a 1/4" clear spoiler on the rear wing across the back only. The viper will be allowed a 1/2" spoiler. This allowance will be measured from the top of the molded wing and extra material can be used to attach spoiler.
GTP:

Approved Body List:

With the availability issues of getting certain manufactures bodies in the style you want.
This is a rules revision regarding bodies:
If a body is on the list from one manufacture, it is legal to run another manufactures body as long as the design is basically the same. Example: JK AUDI R-10 = OS AUDI R-10
The only BMW V-12 legal is the one from JK!
Now regarding bodies that are not on the list, bring them to the race so the committee can look them over and we will go from there on an approval process.
