I am sure there are some who want to add links to the front page, but they just don't look quite right. Try adding a table to the coding, and put your text links there, and it will put them in a handy little table, that can be customized, to your colours. The Screenshot below will show you what it looks like, when it's done.

ScreenShot of what Table with Text Links looks like.

HOW TO DO IT:

Quote:

<table bgcolor="#000000" bordercolordark="#ffffff" bordercolorlight="#ffffff" border="2" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="1" width="100%">

<tr>
<td><font size=3 color=FF00FF>Favorite Websites</font></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>

</tr>
<tr>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>

<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>

</tr>
<tr>
<td></td>

<td></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>

</tr>
<tr>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
<td></td>
</tr>

</table>

</center><BR>

All of this is added to your FOOTER area in "Feature Settings" area. Anywhere that has #HEXIMAL CODE can be changed to the colours you want to use. You can play with the border sizes and cell spacing if you like.

NOTE: Where ever it says:
<td><a href=http://www.yoursiteaddy/>Your Site Title</a></td>

Be sure to put in the addy to the site you wish to link, and the Title of the Site, so that you have something to click.

Thanks Seb for answering that, cause to be honest, I couldn't remember. I could have searched for the answer, but then I was just being lazy today, and knew that someone like you would have the right answer.

any ideas how to input a table in the format you outline but in a way that stops the board from inserting a blank line above the table for every row of the table?

spent ages fiddling with code and none of it makes the slightest difference....
