Some people may wish to view what errors the Google Bot may have encountered on their forum. The following is information freely given by Google.

Instructions: You must use the link given above in order to verify your site, and to receive the diagnostic information from Google. It is not placed on your website, but may be helpful in identifying errors that you may have on your Excoboard site.
How do I view crawl errors?
To view crawl errors for a site, select your website from the My Sites page in our webmaster tools, click the Diagnostic tab, then click Web crawl on the left.
Note: Your site must be verified in order to view crawl errors.
The Web Crawl errors page provides details about the URLs in your site that we tried to crawl but could not access. We provide statistics on two types of URLs:
URLs contained in your sitemap
URLs found through our regular web crawl
The Web crawl errors page provides a list of error types and an approximate number of errors for each type. To view detailed information on certain errors, click an error category:
Not found
URLs not followed
URLs restricted by robots.txt
URLs timed out
HTTP errors
URL unreachable
For each error category, our statistics list the URL along with the type of error encountered and the date the error was encountered.
Note: These crawl errors may not be an exhaustive list of errors and does not contain information about URLs that have not been crawled. |
