Well, since I've neglected the frick out of my own board and I don't know if I can ever get it going again, I'll start an official wish list here.
This is for scripts, mods, or whatever that you want to see happen.
My signature was here, but then the new rule came and sat on it.
(Spared No Expense - the fully modded ExCoboard) Currently kinda bland, so answer my thread and suggest stuff.
AmpleAdy makes awesome templates.

shell wants a who's been online in the last 24 hours script. . .so do several other people. I have been playing with bits of several scripts trying to get one that will work but sdn I don't really understand whnat function command that it needs. Can you please help us out?

my wishes
1, the forums to go into pages rather than archive.
2, the who's visited today option
3, a number on each forum that shows people how many members are in that particular forum at a certain time.
4, the new templates that have been created by both exco and members to be added to the boards for us to choose them.
5, a spellchecker built in near the 'post reply/submit' button.

An Online Status indicator. Shows if user in online or offline under their statistics in a post.

I wish you could mark THIS (particular) FORUM READ. Leaving the others unread so if you leave and come back you still know what forums you have not been to yet.
Currently it's new since your last visit to the site period.
I don't have to attend every argument I am invited to.

Hows about something that keeps your cookies from thinking you have read every thing at every board on exco you go to after you go into your profile..You know,all "New posts" always mark as read after you check a PM or go in to profile for something..Not only does it wipe all the "new posts" on that bb but it marks every post at every exco bb you may go to as "read" also..
This is not a big deal but if this could be fixed in the near future that would be cool!

I still want an Image Gallery in members profiles (request from many people a year ago  if you remember sdn)
that might be possible now since we are able to edit atleast part of the profile page...but it would be the header.

My wishes:
- A preview post option
- Mass email option
- And to have the option to be able to edit the confirmation message that new members recieve after joining, the verify email. I'd really love to add my own personal message. (such as rules)

The reason the gallery thing didn't go anywhere was because at the time, there was no footer for the section that needed to be modded.
I tired a spellchecker a while ago but I couldn't get it to work because of some stupid security restrictions. I've got some more ideas for it, though, so I'll try again. Right now, in fact.

A script or something that will fill in a missing avatar with an image.
For example: Lily doesn't have an avatar. I wish to be able to place an avatar somehow that says Sebby's Forum on it or something. That way it looks cleaner.
I think my wish is kind of hard to understand.

I was thinking that the following could be added to the Private Messages area of the forums....
* A "sent" folder so that we can go back and see what we had sent to someone and/or have the chance to delete the message if we still decide to.
* A "saved" folder so that we can save any PMs we want without having to save them in the actual main folder where they can easily get deleted.
Just a couple suggestions that might make the PM section a little nicer.

I agree with whoever said the numbers and even members browisng in each section at the bottom.
But that could be tricky, so an update which allowed the forum statistics to be shown on every page would be AMAZING, because that would allow people posting in a forum to know that someone else was online and they weren't just posting to nobody.
Another easy one would be buttons for 'quote' and 'image' code to come up. It needn't be complex like on invision forums, just press the button would result in '[ img][/img ]' or whatever was necassary appearing on the post reply page and you could paste the url into the middle.

I would love to have an option member can click a box to receive notifications of replies to a certain thread. I though all forums had this option.

Oh a Games script that we could buy too would be good, I have it on my other forum which is really popular. Also a points script where members earn points for posting messages, sending PM and it is also integrated within the games too.

Argh how annoying is it not getting am email notification when you get a new Private Message? This is driving me nuts as I have joined a lot of excoboard forums and never know when I have a reply.
