Lo all i'm new to boards, been using another service but wasnt happy as could customise as much as i would like, this seems much better.
Was wondering though, how do i go about sorting my custom template??
My logo is a black and barcode and want to work around that

Dave the first place you probably need to go is into settings> feature settings or style settings before you go mucking about in custom templates. Many scripts are listed in the script repository so that is also a good starting place for you. Welcome to exco!

hmm,
i'm new too.
been all over the place trying to learn.
maybe you can help me , too.
so far i have picked out buttons, like reply etc, named topics, categories.
chosen background.
now i want to to details, like images next to topics,
change some images.
do a banner, etc.
how / where do i start?

Go to Tips and Tricks Forum, and also Script Repository. Start there, and see if there is anything. Try to use the Search Feature (at the top), it works, kinda, and you may find what you are looking for that way.
