Posted February 22nd, 2009 06:30 PM IP Another request
Is there something that you can come up with that it will allow us to say move threads in one go rather than seperately? Maybe alittle box that you can click on the side?

Posted April 15th, 2009 06:05 PM IP Yes to the last request. It would be nice to be able to move multiple topics (together) than one at a time. It would save so much time. Becky

Posted April 20th, 2009 10:14 AM IP I know that a portal page might already be in the pipeline
but it would be lovely if we could add the odd extra page or two with our own chosen content.
One very much like the current FAQ page that we could customize ourselves would be perfect.
(or has anyone else already nicked that one for their own use?)
I've added this to the wishlist even though I would be the first to agree it is not a real need or top priority

I've seen it on other forums but I don't remember where, I'll pay attention now.
Thanks,

Posted May 20th, 2009 08:20 AM IP I would really love the return of the "Last Post" feature. Knowing when a member was last online is fine, but we really need to keep track of when they post as activity is one of our membership requirements.

The problem with this is if you have a lot of members you have to go through clicking on each persons profile, and if you have several to check it takes a lot of time. You used to be able to see the last post date and time, just by scrolling down the user adminstrator list.

Posted May 24th, 2009 08:07 PM IP I would like to see an easy way to create private forums. We have several group leaders in my clan and they'd like to have a forum where they discuss and plan events and activities without the rest of the clan knowing about it until it is unveiled. Right now it appears the only option is the "User Group" feature but since Moderators and above cannot be a part of it, that just won't work. We need a way to do this where only those people in the particular group can access the forum whether their rank is "Registered", "Admin", or any status in between. Don't Litter ~ Spay or Neuter

moderators , admin , registered can be added to a user group you create. You can create a private user group for anyone you wish to.

Posted May 27th, 2009 04:31 PM IP I love all the features but there is one that I would like to see, more or less, extended. You know the little arrow, or icon you use, where new post are in a thread. Well I woudl like to see them last at least till it is clicked. Right now they only stay for approx 5-10 minutes. Well mine do at least. Or is there a setting to keep them longer. I think this is the name for it "Go to first new post in thread"

Posted June 1st, 2009 09:50 PM IP A feature I would really enjoy is being able to host multiple CSS files on Excoboard so we can have more than one skin.
A built in skin changer would also be great.

Confused now... Under Step 1, part 3 of the "Usergroup tutorial" it says:
"(Only registered users can be part of a group, moderators and administrators cannot join a group)"
On another note, can you please tell me when the last major update was performed?

To answer your other question. If you go to the main page of this board, the top forum is Announcements. All updates are in there. Excoboard Terms of Service

Posted August 25th, 2009 07:48 AM IP Please - we are in desperate need of more status classifications for our boards. Four is great if you're dealing with a very basic board (as our group has for the past four years), but we're expanding and
Admin, Super Moderator, Moderator, and Registered are simply not working for us.
Would it be possible for board owners to create additional status classification as they are required or failing that, can you add perhaps four more status classifications (minimal) to what's there.
Also with the User Group feature - there really must be a way to be able to create User Groups with the members being designated various status. The point of a User Group (to me, anyway) is to be able to group like-minded people together regardless of their status classification.
Please help here - this is vitally important to increasing the efficiency of how our group functions. Having to carry on an effective dialog with eight people in PMs is the worst possible solution.
Edit: Tacking these on:
There are a few of issues I have with the "Search" feature...
~the results are not in any sort of date order at all
~the results are not complete by any stretch of the imagination

Posted September 1st, 2009 04:00 PM IP Lately I have seen this on several forums such as:
1) Fat Wallet
2) Slick Deals
3) Price Network
4) Smart Canucks
I would like to request that we have the option to upload/attach files to posts. Example PDF files. I know I would find this useful on my freebie site.

Posted December 31st, 2010 03:17 PM IP A new request. I think it would be nice if admins had a log we could access to see what is happening on the boards.
Example:
[User] edited [Post] at [Date, Time group]
[Original]
[User] Deleted [Post] at [Date, Time group] Excoboard Terms of Service

Posted January 31st, 2011 12:30 PM IP The "subscribe to thread" function is great. I wonder if it could be extended so that users could subscribe to receive email notifications of PM's received?
It wouldn't be so important for someone like me, who is on their board everyday, but handy for members who perhaps don't visit every day. It's the sort of thing I would also use on this board, for example, as I don't visit unless I'm looking for help or info.

Posted October 28th, 2012 11:55 PM IP I was wondering if it would be possible to have some of the {variables} listed here to be available to all sections of the templates rather than specific areas. This would allow for some really creative template designs with our current access to HTML and CSS design.
Recently I've looked into and designed a side bar for the site within the header that functioned with every page. I could include a custom navigation within it linking to a vast majority of our role playing site quickly.
Some of the Variables used within the site under the index category, are included in information centers, being global would allow us to put it anywhere on the site.
(Edited by Enix Elek) Tearing apart and rebuilding is just a part of what i do!
