Posted 03-09-09 01:41 PM IP It seems as if we have been patient, but is a 500 season considered respectable at this point in his tenure?

Posted 03-10-09 12:14 AM IP I say a Coach deserves at least a 4 year cycle to prove him or herself with any college sports program. That way they get an entire 4 year class from Freshmen through Seniors to work with. Nessman's had his cycle and hasn't had any real success. So if it were up to me, I'd look for another MBB Coach.

Posted 06-04-09 11:24 AM IP I'd say next season is a "do or die" year for Coach Nessman.

Posted 01-13-10 10:21 AM IP Based SOLELY on the fact that the team is looking more decent than in previous years, and assuming it keeps up during WAC play, I say give him one more year. When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.

Posted 01-15-10 04:07 AM IP I agree with SJSrat's post from last Spring. This is Nessman's 5th year, a winning record is needed to bring him back for a 6th. Go Spartans!
