Any word or rumors on any other coaches that are going to fill out the rest of the staff?

Not yet. But I'm guessing Coach Mac's staff will be finalized by 02/05.

With the hiring of Hugh Freeze, it's looking like Malley is out. His offense finished at the bottom of FBS level football, so IMO, he needed to go.

It wasn't Malley's offense...It was Morton's, and he was running it, not Malley...

I think Malley should be kept on as QB coach

I concur with this. The more complete a coaching staff we have, the better.

When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.

Yes, I stand corrected. It wasn't his offense. Malley however had his hands all over it (he was calling the plays), so he's partially to blame IMO.

With that said, I think Hugh Freeze will do a fine job. Malley will land on his feet again. He's a great Arena coach.

I'm surprised that Malley isn't working for the San Jose Wolves. Their inaugural season begins in just 6 weeks. Maybe they can't afford him?

Go Spartans!
