As for me - Guitar Hero 3 and retro styling with Jedi Knight!

I only have underground and I think that came before 3 (at least Bam isn't playable in it, clinging to the hope he is one of the random skaters that teaches you moves - like Mike Vallely.)

Posted December 22nd, 2007 12:27 PM IP I got Pokemon snap off of virtual console one night, and beat it in four playing sessions (I totaled up my time, it was like 2 1/2 hours). I don't remember it being so... short.
The one thing that tips me off about it - lack of autosave. Twice now I've boned myself out of some gameplay time. T_T We hold beliefs as a consolation

Posted March 29th, 2008 12:00 PM IP *AHEM* Off-topic story time! Gather around, kids, for fun and excitement and scandal and adventure and romance! A tale of massive proportions detailing the awesome quest of a lone boy in a busy world... A tale of a man and his video games... and other stuff....
This really did begin about six or seven months ago, when a childhood friend moved back with his family. Having him in close contact again opened opportunities of hanging out like old times, expect in a more adult world... y'know, instead of talking about Batman toys and video games, now we would talk about trucks and girls. :P 'Course, when I got my li'l Isuzu Hombre (2.2L, 4 cyl engine with a 5 spd transmission), we hung out a lot 'cause he was always wanting to drive my truck. I don't blame him, that was a great truck.
After a while, my friend moved out of his parents' apartment and got an apartment with a cousin. A couple of months after this, the motor in my truck burned out without warning. Now, I was vehicle-less. My friend was kind enough to let me move in with him, because he lived in town and was much closer to school and work.
Originally, I was just staying over for the night, but eventually I was pretty much all but living there. My PlayStation 2 and my GameCube were transported there, and I guess that jostled them up. You may have read about them in that one SNES thread. My PlayStation wasn't playing PS1 games, then it wasn't playing movies. We left it in my friend's room for quite a while, and it played PS2 games the whole time.
When I brought my TV there, we left it in my room. I guess the move broke it, 'cause it barely read PS2 discs shortly after that. So, anyways, my friend brought some of his little cousin's GameCube games, but my GameCube would not read the discs. I cleaned the eye with alcohol, but it still didn't work. Upon close inspection, I realized the arm that moved, reading the disc, was broken, and therefore the GameCube was pretty much useless.
Backtrack with me a little bit. In order to transport all of my video games easily, I threw them all in a heater box with my comic books.
Anyways... I was on the verge of moving back in with my parents, 'cause I figured I was staying much longer than necessary, and was hoping on getting another truck soon. It was a piece of crud Dodge, but the guy was gonna let me have it for $250. 'Course, after several weeks, I still don't have it... so, you can tell how that turned out.
Anyways.... I was on the verge of moving out; I stayed at my parents' house one night. It was the weekend. My friend called telling me he was wanting to play the PS2 but noticed I had taken it back home.
This concerned me, because I remembered distinctly making the decision to leave it there for the weekend.
I investigated, and found not only was the system missing, but so were his little cousin's GC games... It struck me as odd since the cousin's GameCube was still there.... It would be a few days before I noticed my own GameCube had been stolen.
After the day passed by without any luck, I decided we could just borrow someone else's PS2 for the moment, because I wanted to play the PS2 games I had bought the day before (9 games + controller + memory card + GameShark disc + demo disc = $40). I think my friend mentioned my games, and I casually mentioned they were in my box, and turned to point at it, but, alas.... it was gone.
I lost my temper, then. A broken PS2, fine. Someone else's video games, neh. Heck, even all of my video games, who cares? But, that box had over forty comic books....... I was ticked off.
I called my friend's roommate and started shouting at him, pretty much accusing him of stealing my stuff. He denied it vehemently.
Well, I've seen him since, and he expressed concern. My friends have told me that someone might brag about their theivery and they'll find out, but that has yet to happen. I don't really know for sure who really stole my stuff or why. There were plenty of other things out in the open, but they only stole those four items... A PS2, a GC, GC games, and a heavy heater box. 'Course, I know for a fact that no one knew my systems were broken 'cause I never brought it up with anyone, so that's some consolation, but I want my comic books back.
The End! For it is not enough to have a good mind: one must use it well. -René Descartes

I'll rephrase... Check the bold.

Posted April 2nd, 2008 10:13 PM IP Alright, listen, my friend's former roommate could have possibly taken them, but definitely not my friend. You don't know him, and you don't know all the details. I know all of the facts, and I can tell you that he wouldn't even have a reason to take my junk. He knew my GameCube didn't work... I know more about him than he thinks I do... He'll tell me little lies, but I always find out the whole truth... Don't judge my friend until you come down here, meet him, and live with him for a week.
