Posted 06-20-06 09:40 PM IP I know... here we go again... not another Dan Brown book review... well I got to do it... I did after all read it... and I am passing my thoughts on to you... my dear readers of my board.
You know I loved the Da Vinci Code (which is FICTION by the way) so I jumped at the chance to borrow A&D from a friend (Yes we are always switching from one to another, heck I dont even know where half my books are these days) When I read the first chapter of this book I thought "Oh no... not another mind f*** book like the DVC (That is Da Vinci Code in case you didnt get it) was" I didnt think I had another, put my thinking cap on book in me, but alas I did A&D is a drawn out ride in the beginning but it takes off like a shot in the middle.
Again, I will not give any of the plot away... you just have to read it for yourself. I did however figure out who done it before the end but I did NOT guess the twist. I guess that is why the call it a twist. lol I can't wait to find out what Robert Langdon gets himself into next.
Now that I think about it I think Mr. Brown has a thing for the Catholic church.
It is a great book - Read it!!
