So far, I have read "Angel Unaware" and "Rainbow on a hard Trail". I enjoyed both very much.

Also, in "Rainbow on a hard Trail", Dale said she wrote her song "The Bible Tells Me So" just twenty minutes before doing the show. I was wondering if anyone knew which show it was she wrote the song for. Our family really likes that song.

I've read four of their books: Happy Trails, Our life story, Angel Unaware, Woman at the Well, and Where He leads.

Angel Unaware was the first one I read, and I read it three times, and cried at the same spot where Robin dies. I also like Happy Trails, our Life story. Those two would be my favourate.

Last Janurary I orded Rainbow over a Hard trail from Amazon but it never came in.

I can hardly wait to read the one my Dad ordered for me off the Christian Book Distrubitors.

I like Dusty's book GROWING UP WITH ROY AND DALE.

Many of us did that, but we did not have Roy and Dale for parents, not in real life anyway. They were our parents only in our dreams.

"The Cowboy and the Senorita", didn't think that one was written by Miss Dale. Are ya thinkin of the book written by Howard Kazanjian and Chris Enss? It is a great book, by the way!

The Roy Rogers show titled "The Ginger Horse" taped March 27, 1955 is the one Dale wrote "The Bible Tells Me So." It is about a little girl named Janie whose horse is stolen by an outlaw who framed her father in a robbery.

Thank you so much Lindale for the information. I'm going to see if I can find "The Ginger Horse" for sale somewhere.

It's my mission to read all of Dale's books and, for that matter, anything else I can get my paws on that concern the Rogers family. So far I've read Woman at the Well, Angel Unaware, Where He Leads and Happy Trails, Our Life Story. I've loved them all. I constantly go to thrift shops and used bookstores and I'm always so happy to find something by Dale!

Ditto! I get really excited if I find a Roy or Dale book or movie in the store. I think she wrote some of the best books I have read!

I think she did, too, CowboyFan ... she writes like she talked ... plain-speaking and understandable. So many times I'll read a book and quickly forget most of it, but her writing stays with me.

Same here! Dale is so personal. Reading her books is like sitting down and having a talk with her.

Leah B; Where did you get your copy of Dale My Personl Picture Album? A library nears us has it and I could easily order it, but the library is undergoing construction so it's been in storage for more than a year!

Leah B., you inspired me ... I just went to my library's website and had four of Dale's books that I haven't read put on hold for me, to be sent to my local branch ... what a great service! Now if they would just hurry up and call and let me know they've come in! HAHAHA!!!!

Most of the books I have read I've had to interlibrary loan from other libraries. But they have been worth the wait!

Today I was looking for a note book in my mom's supply cupboard, and I decided to take a look at her books for Angel Unaware (she said she had a copy), and when I was looking I found Woman at the Well! I'm so glad I now have a copy, because I really love that book, and the other copy I had read was borrowed from the Church library. I was really excited after that, and so glad when my Mom said I could keep it in my room.

Yeah for you CowboyFan! I bought my copy of Woman at the Well from our church library. Nobody had checked it out in almost 5 years!

Hardly any one borrowed out the Woman at the Well, til I came along.

My CBD order just came in! And I can hardly wait to read two new books: Say Yes to Tomorrow and Our Values. I can also hardly wait to re-read Angel Unware.

I love all the books of Roy and Dale that I've read. I have a signed copy of My spiritual Diary that is precious and priceless to me. I HIGHLY recommend it. It is a daily account from Dale's heart.
Although it is out of print there may be copies available.

I'm reading Say Yes to Tomorrow, and it's by far one of the best books I've read. I've learned alot of things, and I hope to continue.

Hi, everyone -- I couldn't wait to get home from my thrift shop expedition this evening and get on the computer to announce that I found "Woman at the Well" and "Growing Up With Roy and Dale" -- I am so thrilled! They're both in excellent shape and they were a dollar each. How could anyone get rid of a Rogers-related book? Well, I guess I'm glad they did, though! I've added these to my pile that I got from the library -- I am in hog heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
