Posted June 5th, 2012 06:16 PM IP I looked for a while for you, but didn't have any luck. Now, as I'm reading "My Spiritual Diary", there's a place in there where Dale talks about the `extra stanza` she added after the first chorus.
In a land that's far away,
A little babe was born one day
In a manger;
And if to Him we daily pray
He'll take our load of care away.
To me, He's no stranger.
If we follow the Master, bye and bye,
We'll fly over the rainbow...
You can, and so can I!
Glad I could find this for you. Enjoy! Happy Trails to ya!

Posted June 6th, 2012 08:37 PM IP Try page 58. After not keeping up with R&D for a lot of years, since I'm retired, I'm finally learning about how much is on the net, and having time to read. I saw Dale throughout the years on TV and stuff, but had no idea at what a good Christian she was, and how much she witnessed. Wow, she was on fire for the Lord. Her and Roy! I've thought a lot of times at how different things may have been if Tom hadn't witnessed so strongly to his mother. God knew how their lives were going to go. Everything fell into place to make them such role models. Had they not had Christ in their lives, they may have been just another actor. Anyway, I'm sure thankful they were around in my childhood. We need more Hollywood types like them, today. Happy Trails to ya!

Posted June 7th, 2012 09:27 AM IP I often wonder how their lives would have been if Robin would have lived longer. the influence her story Angel Unaware had was on a lot of people. Dale was a fabulous witness and role model. I think her books are as helpful today as they were when she wrote them. how many of her books have you read? I like all of them but my favorites are Angel and her last book Rainbow on a Hard Trail. Roy and Dale fans forever.

Posted June 12th, 2012 07:54 PM IP Sorry, I forgot to reply. I've read nine of her books. I want to get the new one about them, and also the Christmas one in September. I enjoy her books, and her message. She was quite a gal. She had a rough start, though. I still say that if you look at all that happened, and how, God had to be in it. If any of the pieces of their puzzle didn't fit, I think there was a chance they would've turned out to be just another actor. Happy Trails to ya!

Posted June 13th, 2012 09:18 AM IP I want to get the Christmas one also. I think the gift shop is taking preorders in August. I have volume 1 of the other book and I really like it. I want to get volume 2 when it comes out. Dale was quite a person. I think a lot of people have missed her and still do. I never met her but through her books I feel like I've kind of known her. Roy and Dale fans forever.
