Posted November 25th, 2009 07:23 PM IP Does anyone know how many years Roy had his
Rodeo? What year they began and what year they
ended? I know his first movie as Roy Rogers was
1938 and he asked Dale to marry him as he was
entering one of his rodeos and that was 1948, so
they must have started sometime after 1938 and
probably went into the early 1950s. There is a stream
that shows their appearances but they start from
about 1955 and not earlier. Thanks

Nobody nose the exacts date as far as I can tell... As for when they ended I'm not at all sure. I'm thinkin' form what I've found that they ended in the mid 50's. So a little later in the 50's because. They "adopted" Marion after a trip over seas. I know they continued to make special appearances in Rodeo for quite some time in their later lives. I hope this is helpful.

It may have been a guest appearance rather than his own show at that point, though. I'm not sure.
