Following my own advice and saying, "Howdy all."
I noticed that the most members online at one time was 24 on 10/16/07.
With a little organization / coordination I bet we could break that. All we would need to do would be to agree on a time (and pick a time zone so everyone could adjust it according to where they live) and then see how many members we could get to log on at the set time.

That sounds neat! I hope it happens. I was online a few years back and was off for 4 years due to a horrendous auto accident. It took docs 3 years to put me back together and am slowly getting back into what I used to do including these posts. I hope to get to know all of you.

A thought just came to me, maybe all of us who are in the RRRC can recognize each other with name pins designating the museum. Jim and I have ours.....hope to see more at the next benefit in September!

My wief and I was able to see the last show for 2008.

There were two bus groups and the theater had a very good attendance.

Thought I would drop by and say howdy. Northern Arizona got a foot of snow on 2/9. Here's what it looked like.

Howdy back Twister. Although, I usually check the RR forum at least once a day, I don't sign in unless I intend to post a message. So I really don't drift too far from RR.

Nice to meet you Harry! When you are meant to be in Branson, God will make a way for it to happen. I found that out a few years ago. In the meantime, Happy Trails and God Bless.

Just wanted to drop in and see how things are going. I recently came back to this site. I had been away for a few years. I lost my horse to colic on April 13, 2006, she was 24. She was a very smart little mare, an appaloosa. She got an eye disease and went blind in her right eye in 2000, and sometime later had to have it removed. We almost had to put her down because she became so depressed. She was a spirited horse with lots of personality, so this was hard on her. With lots of love and patience, she came around. We built her a corral that she learned to move aorund in it without hitting anything. She knew every inch of her stall also. I dreaded 4th of July and New Years, she was so afraid of fireworks, but I would put on some nice peaceful music in her stall to try and help calm her. I sure miss that little horse. She could shake hands and back up with verbal commands. Smart little horse. Took the vet 5 hours to get out, by then she was toxic and had to be put to sleep. I lost a good friend that day. I haven't gotten another horse. This economy has been hard on us, and the expense of hay and vet bills keep me from having one. I've been a Roy Rogers fan since I was a little girl of 3 years of and I'm now 54. He was my hero! I never got to meet Roy or Dale, but I got to see the museum, and that was like meeting them. Seeing Trigger and Buttermilk and Bullet, and all their personal items. It was a wonderful experience and something I had always wanted to do. I'm glad to be back on the message board and hope everyone is doing wonderful, Lord willing!

So glad to have you back Shylo. It is hard losing a special horse. I still miss my little Morgan. He taught me so much. I still have the little mustang mare that he adored, she is 36 years old. This year has been rough on her so I panic in the mornings when she is not standing by her feed trough.. usually she is around the corner but my heart drops.

So glad to have you back on the message board. Roy & Dale have a special place in each of our hearts. Dale's books helped our family through some emotionally rough times. God blessed us with their presence.

I know how you feel, too. I had a golden palomino for 17 years and had to give her up due to my severe disablilities after a horrendous auto accident. The docs had me convinced I would not be able to do much without a wheelchair, but I am moving fairly well and wish I still had my Kate. She was 20 and I cannot find her, she has had apparently several owners and they aren't talking Drat. I have started riding again, though and it is the only time I am completely "normal".

Hi Everyone - It has been several years since I posted on the MB. Much has happened in that time. I was saddened to hear that the museum has closed but I cherish my memories of visiting the museum in both Victorville and Branson. I am delighted to see that Trigger and Bullet have a new home with RFD-TV and that Roy and Dale's movies and Dusty and his band will be on RFD-TV every Saturday soon. I will always remember the opening sequence of the TV show as I watched each episode on Saturday morning TV. Hello to all my old saddle pals. Thanks - LanceRR

My Oh My!!! LanceRR, it has been a long time since you've been here. Welcome back.
There's not many of the vintage folks left and lots of new ones here, the latter having brought
much to the RR forum. You'll enjoy them.
Don't forget to post more - have a gud'n!!!

Hi SheilaR...yes, it's good you are posting again. I was just thinking of some of our other friends who have meant so much over the years and who haven't been on for such a long time. I have often thought in the past several months of the picture of you with Trigger...you posted it again awhile back. Special times, those days.
I am thankful for my/our 7 trips to the Victorville museum and the 3 trips to Branson. One never knows what the future may hold.
May the Lord continue to guide and strengthen Dusty/Dustin/ADave and those who have tried so hard to maintain a gathering place for Roy and Dale's fans. I also hope that the folks at RFD TV will be able to continue the dream!!

Howdy Lance RR!! Great to see ya on here!! Hope all is well with your family!!

I'm glad I finally met up with ya a few years back, at a RR-DE Roundup in Branson. Hope you'll drop by more often and sign in.

I am so thrilled that RFD-TV was able to aquire Trigger and Bullet!! I have emailed Mr Gottsch a few times lettin' him know how much we enjoy his network and got a response back from him each time. After the initial buy was over with for Trigger and Bullet, I sent him an email to let him know just how excited Buffalo Jim and I were that he and RFD-TV were now the "caretakers" of Trigger and Bullet.

Sure hope we will be able to view Trigger & Bullet somewhere "on the road" when they start their "Tour Across America" with them!!

I watched both viewin's of the special "Equine Live" program with Mr. Gottsch, Dusty and Dustin. We are excited and can hardly wait til first week of November, when they start airin' Roy's movies!

I whole-heartedly feel RFD-TV will do right by Trigger and Bullet. Congrats to RFD-TV!!

Glad to see you guys on here again. I too look in right often but always seem to be in a hurry and dont take time to post-which I guess is not good-if theres no posting then ADave may think we dont care enough to keep it going. So the purchase and publicity of T/B may be a real shot in the arm for MB.
