We were there last September and Janet McBride still had her yodelin' sessions if that's what you're talkin' 'bout. They do have performers there that can do a fine yodel; but not nearly good as our Roy!

I said session... I should have said performance.
One of the songs Merrijoy has been teaching her students at school has the word yodeling in it. So, I figure to send a video clip with her that features...Yup...you guessed it...Roy yodeling. Posted March 19th, 2008 12:28 PM IP Below is a quote from Roy...
My Mom and I, now, we developed a system of yodeling that was a whole lot like Morse Code – she had a yodel to call me in for dinner, and I had another yodel to let the folks back at the farmhouse know that there was a thunderstorm a-coming, and I could modulate my yodeling to let my sisters know where I was. Many variations, there, and when I yodel in a song, nowadays, it always takes me back to my childhood. Quote of Roy by Michael H. Price

Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright that God may love thee. Speak the truth even if it leads you to your death. Safeguard the helpless. That is your oath. (strikes him across the face) That is how you shall remember it. Rise a knight!
Knighting out of Kingdom of Heaven
You will listen to me. Listen! The Bretheren will still be looking to us, the Black Pearl, to lead. And what will they see? Frightened bilge rats aboard a derelict ship? No! No, they will see free men and freedom! And what the enemy will see is the flash of our cannons! They will hear the ring of our swords and they will know what we can do. By the sweat of our brows, and the strength of our backs, and the courage of our hearts. Gentlemen, hoist the colors.
