I love it when I think a character is going to do or be something and then it gets turned around... This is definately going to be a "keepsake" story.

This is meant to be only a fun exercise on the MB. However, from a "what if" point of view, "A Continuing Roy Story," though it won't ever be able to be published, still will have a long list of contributors, each who has had the enjoyment of the destiny of Roy and Dale in the imagination of their keyboards.
Several have suggested I outline a possible closure to the story for some future time. Why don't you email me with your suggestions. I'll put them all together and with Dave (Administrator), a final direction can be considered. Okay?
Put "A Roy Story" on your email's subject line, send it to merrijoy@frontiernet.net and we'll consider together how to close the story.
Remember, there isn't any reason to chop it off soon. Lots of time and imagination to have more fun with it.

I can think of no 2 people better to come to some final conclusions that Cowpokey and the MB Adm.! They will be fair in what they find to be the "best" way to conclude the Story when the time arrives.

I was looking at some other topics and saw the one on "Pat Brady." I had to chuckle to think of all the trouble Pat would get himself into and now in The Continuing Roy Story," there's even one who looks like him, still getting into trouble. HarHar!!

This story is great! It keeps me on my toes as far as writing goes. I love to write and this is no different, but working with other people's ideas is a real challenge! So thanks, you guys!

When in school and HAD to write papers...teachers would always use the words..."use your imagination"...somehow, that came easier for some than others!

Well, Bren...we here on the MB believe you have a great imagination. After all, you seem to always imagine yourself in the kitchen when all the rest of us know what might happen. That might even make for a good story...a comedy!! HarHar!

I try to avoid even imagining I am anywhere near a place called a kitchen....except to get a cold coke...and feed Gabster.
Now, Ethel and I had a good imagination with the days events of Lucy and Ethel.

Ethel and I gave CD a ton of trouble a few years ago...what we fun we had with him! Miss those days...trying to keep up with CD!
I enjoy watching "I Love Lucy"...never heard of anyone that did not enjoy that program!

I'm guessing he came from Under Nevada Skies or maybe the radio shows. I love putting Indians in my stories as well! I think Roy's relationship with them was wonderful--he was way ahead of his time in treating them as equals with intelligence equal or supierior to the general public.

I am new to the continual story threads but it is neat what y'all have started. Why not considering having more than one? One that ends on the 100th post and one that keeps on going...

Well, let's just get done with this one first! And I don't think, guys, it's going to be possible to end it on the 100th post perfectly. Maybe someone's got more ability to channel where this is going, but to me--that seems like a pretty tricky job!
