I need a topic where we can talk about the continued story! First, I was totally amazed! The last thing I wrote, I had Roy asking what Opal was really hiding. My intention was that her father had been kidnapped and they were looking for him. And--what do you know? The next person said exactly that! I almost fell off my chair!

The story is going great--and it's so much fun!

May God keep you smilin' down a million happy trails!

I was hoping Gabby was going to make an appearance. I am really enjoying this story so many ideas from different people and it is really coming together. Lots of fun.

It's great! Let's try to fit as many people from the movies in, okay? Since this doesn't have to be perfect, it's fun to bring everyone in.
May God keep you smilin' down a million happy trails!

That is a great idea! Maybe make a list of the different charactors on here so we don't forget one... Don't forget Cookie or Frog! Wouldn't it have been fun to have both of those in one of RR movies?

Just so long as it doesn't get to complicated.

On one of my other forums, we have a continual story, and we say whoever makes the 100th post, gets to finish the story. Maybe we should do that for this one.

Yoicks! I hate organization to that point. How about we just keep working on it and head it towards a good ending?

I think there should be a little organization though, maybe somewhere inbetween post 100 - 150, it needs to end. Or something. Do you like that idea?

Leah B; As an on-looker, I think you have "hit the nail on the head". Organization to end the story is needed and must be utilized.

Hey, I think the story is going just great. Instead of trying to end it why don't we
see how long we can keep it running, huh? How long do you suppose we could
get it? I like that idea better than trying to stop it.

Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright that God may love thee. Speak the truth even if it leads you to your death. Safeguard the helpless. That is your oath. (strikes him across the face) That is how you shall remember it. Rise a knight!
Knighting out of Kingdom of Heaven

You will listen to me. Listen! The Bretheren will still be looking to us, the Black Pearl, to lead. And what will they see? Frightened bilge rats aboard a derelict ship? No! No, they will see free men and freedom! And what the enemy will see is the flash of our cannons! They will hear the ring of our swords and they will know what we can do. By the sweat of our brows, and the strength of our backs, and the courage of our hearts. Gentlemen, hoist the colors.

Now, wait a minute! I wasn't advocating anything like that! My poor fingers! But--I firmly think that if everyone just keeps posting and moving the story along, it will come to a natural conclusion--probably quicker than people think.

I've enjoyed the story.
Lots of action and certainly a lot of imagination from the budding authors in this group.
Why worry about an ending at this point?
Even so, should not the one who started the story be the one to outline the conclusion?

Had Trigger been an automobile, he would have been a Crosley.

Right! Hey, someone spoiled all my mystery on the story! I planned to have that guy who stuck a gun in D's back be the bad guy--and now he's related to Pat. Humph. Well, I guess crazy twists like that are what the story's all about!

You know--maybe instead of seeing how long we can make it--I suspect it would be more proffitable to see how many cold voices from the shadows show up. With RRS around it could be interesting--hmm Eowawa?

And to think I thought the story was going good! Silly me!
