Posted April 12th, 2007 06:27 AM IP Kinda suprised. Actually, my brothers friends are as bad, or worse, than my brothers
themselves! Oh, Becka's trying to tell me that Anthony's worse but John's better. I
personally don't see the difference, but.......... Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright that God may love thee. Speak the truth even if it leads you to your death. Safeguard the helpless. That is your oath. (strikes him across the face) That is how you shall remember it. Rise a knight!

You will listen to me. Listen! The Bretheren will still be looking to us, the Black Pearl, to lead. And what will they see? Frightened bilge rats aboard a derelict ship? No! No, they will see free men and freedom! And what the enemy will see is the flash of our cannons! They will hear the ring of our swords and they will know what we can do. By the sweat of our brows, and the strength of our backs, and the courage of our hearts. Gentlemen, hoist the colors.

Posted April 12th, 2007 08:57 AM IP Well my brother's friend is totally unlike the bad guy he reminds me of. The friend is really nice, a great ball hockey player ( I should know, my brother sent me to cover his friend when I was tired last time we played) and he wouldn't dream of hurting anybody. So I don't know why the bad guy reminds me of him. 'Weep not but think that I have past

CowboyFan, you have been missing out. Don't Fence Me In cut is good, uncut it's...amazing. It really is one of the best RR ever. About sending it to you--why, that's simple. I'll just stick it in a package and mail it to you. I do that with RRFan all the time. Each of us own about 30 or so movies, and about a third of each are ones that the other doesn't have. Does that make sense?
Anyway, instead of buying the ones the other person have, we just share them, sending them back and forth in the mail. Since both of us have rather small RR-buying funds, it works out really well! I'd be happy to send you my DVD of Don't Fence Me In. The same goes for anyone else, although you'll have to PM your address to me.
CowboyFan, I hope that makes things clearer. If you're interested, tell me! May God keep you smilin' down a million happy trails!

My dad says that mailing across the border can involve alot of lost mail. So thanks for the offer, I appreciated it, but we can't do it. Sorry! 'Weep not but think that I have past

Posted April 13th, 2007 03:01 PM IP "Don't Fence Me In" is a wonderful movie.
Mailing packages from USA to another country is expensive and I know for a fact that many times, the packages never make it to their destination and if they do, they have been opened and inspected by Customs.

Okay, there's one other option. My copy isn't copyrighted. I could make you a copy, and send it to you that way. Would you like that? Call it a BD present, if you want! I'd like you to see the movie. May God keep you smilin' down a million happy trails!

Posted April 17th, 2007 08:48 PM IP It would be nice if countries had a better mail system but, I do understand the situation with Customs. What bothers me the most is the fact that so many times, for some unknown reason, the mailed package never reaches the destination in another country except if it is a Military address and they always gets thru but are still most likely to be inspected by Customs. Other than military addresses, the expense for mailing a package can be excessively high and that is where I wish that countries could come to some better rate system. We all have friends and/or family in other countries and mailing packages can be a huge headache at times!

In Roy's movie, TRAIL OF ROBIN HOOD, the scene where Splinters is driving the load of Christmas trees to town and he's racing to get across the burning bridge, before it collapses, and JUST makes it, was a real "nail-biter".

Posted April 26th, 2007 04:50 PM IP Back to the situations R & D get into--some of the best ones where they both get into trouble are in the Roy Rogers Show. I especially like it when the BGs get the drop on one of them, and the other one shows up to do a little BG intimidating. I also think it's really funny in there when Roy takes some dangerous chance and Dale starts giving him a lecture about being more careful! Poor Roy, he had his hands full when Dale came around! May God keep you smilin' down a million happy trails!

Posted May 19th, 2008 08:12 AM IP I finally was able to watch "North of the great Divide". It was pretty good. I started watching it 3 times and either company would come or cattle got out or horses... So I finally sat and watched it over the weekend. We had it for a whole week before I was able to watch... AUGH! :-).
We had 5 boys over last weekend so my two and the other five watched it. The next day they were all out in the back 40 acting out the movie... hee hee...
We enjoyed watching them. Trigs Mom
