Posted October 10th, 2007 08:29 AM IP I really enjoy reading all the comments and information provided by the "original Pioneers" of the MB. Now I am thrilled to consider myself part of the family. Even though I am not an original member, I feel very welcome. If the requirements are a love for Roy Rogers, I qualify. He was my hero always. He still is and now his decency continues with his truly amazing family in Branson. May God Bless Dusty, Linda and their family as well as all the Rogers Legacy...................How blessed we were and are to have them in our lives.................Buckaaroo

Posted October 13th, 2007 03:35 PM IP We've had a nice return of the Vintage-Timers but most of them seem to be on vacation right now. Oh, the stories we could tell of MB Numero Uno!! Posted October 19th, 2007 08:58 PM IP Well, hello to you, my Friend. It's good to see you again. I remember you as Avalanche; now you're using Paladin. Greetings and welcome to the new board. Some of the old folks have left, Brenda Castilla still lurks and then comes to surface now and again. Merrijoy is still hanging in there. Several more surgeries since y2001. Thank you for your prayers!!
Good to see you, Paladin. Stay a spell, you hear?

Dear seasoned members, we miss you very much!
It is tragic that you have not been respected as you should have been. I have always believed that honoring those older and wiser (the "seasoned") includes respecting them, even when we disagree.
Your encouragement and wisdom in the past have been invaluable to us, and your humor has lifted our spirits when we have been having a bad day. I hope you know how important you are in our lives. “Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get — only with what you are expecting to give — which is everything.” ~ Katherine Hepburn, actress
“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” ~ Winston Churchill

Posted November 14th, 2007 01:06 AM IP Many thanks for the thoughtful and kind comments!
I know the different generations on here don't always agree, but that's quite alright!! Each of us as individuals has our own opinion and we have a right to disagree on things from time to time. That doesn't make one or the other, "right or wrong".
Roy and Dale loved "children of all ages" and I do believe they'd be so proud to see both generations workin' side by side to get along and help make this message board in their honor, one that will bring more of us Roy & Dale devoted fans together. We all do have a common bond with our love and admiration for the "King of of Cowboys" and "Queen of the West". Their steadfast faith in their Lord didn't hurt this wonderful Christian couple who endured much more in their lifetimes than alot of us will in ours.
Let us keep the "Roy Rogers Riders Rules" embeded in out hearts and minds and I don't think we'll go wrong!!
Roy Rogers Riders Rules
1. Be neat and clean.
2. Be courteous and polite.
3. Always obey your parents.
4. Protect the weak & help them.
5. Be brave but never take chances.
6. Study hard and learn all you can.
7. Be kind to animals and take care of them.
8. Eat all your food and never waste any.
9. Love God and go to Sunday school regularly.
10. Always respect our flag and our country.
Happy Trails Forever,

Does Zuki have her suitcase and "little cowgirl hat" ready to hit the trail towards Portsmouth? Felina's also got her "special food/water suitcase" she got for Christmas from her aunt and cousin, all packed and ready!!
Bless her heart!! She looks so sad whenever she sees us head out in the car. Her little head lowers a little bit, as she loves to go "ANYWHERE" with us. Happy Trails Forever,
