WE used to have a SATURDAY MORNING JUNIOR CLUB where we held races for 5 to 12 year old children. We charged only $1.00 to enter and started the races at 10am each saturday morning.
We ran 1 min heats with 1 min breaks. Left the controllers and cars in place and only rotated the child.
The cars we used were bullet proof Box Stock 12's with Falcon motors. Full punch on middle lanes, but still fast enough to need some skill on the gutter lanes.
All week when children came in with parents, we would plug the Junior club and the Dollar to race concept with "It's the cheapest way to play". Parents liked the low cost and the fact that it got the kids out from in front of the boob tube on saturday mornings.
It was very successful for us and brought in much more revenue during the week than the few bucks made on saturday morning.... jf
