Christopher Walken Overdrive, Fargo beer-metal
Prozac-addict/new-waver Donovan Stewart (Guitar) and eating-disorder prone Ryan Haugland (Drums) decided to start a band one night in a dingy bar in Moorhead, MN. Local stumble-drunk Fred Frenzel was asked to join as the bass player, but decided it would be way more embarassing to be the singer. The three discussed the idea, found a practice spot, contracted malaria and started jamming. Fellow intoxicant and gator-wrestler Ryan Harstad was quickly added as bassist. Later local-rock-god/pet-sitter Shane Bertrand joined as lead guitarist. The band wrote a few songs and played one show on December 3rd, 2004. Haugland left for Lawrence, KS shortly afterward to get a haircut and didn't come back. The band meandered until finding a new drummer named Trick Yomama. The band played more shows during the Spring and Summer of 2005 before taking a break to record a demo that August. Trick moved to Austin, TX in September/October to catch some rays and the band was again without a drummer. The demo was destroyed in a liquor store robbery and again in a bank fire and took more time to record than expected. Shaken by the pagan gods hatred of them, the band ceased to function for 6 months. The demo neared completion, CWO got it's collective shit together and Unlern drummer James agreed to sit behind the kit and shit-talk. Thankfully, the band is a fully functional unit again. Arise chicken.

Posted August 5th, 2006 05:38 PM IP hey fellers. we are playing a benefit show at the Fargo VFW Friday, August 11th.
It is a 21+ show because there is free beer involved.
Also involved are a newly reformed Satan's War Boner (any metalhead lucky enough to see these guys at Ralphs know what i'm talking about)
The Throbbing Hotrods and Dude Bazooka are also lending support.
Admission is free, but donations are being accepted. The money will go towards a Cancer fund for an employee of the VFW. God bless. ...this life no life it's killing me...

If you find an Atheist in your neighborhood,
TELL A PARENT OR PASTOR RIGHT AWAY!
You may be moved to try and witness to
these poor lost souls yourself, however
AVOID TALKING TO THEM!
Atheists are often very grumpy and bitter and will lash out at children or they may even try to trick you into neglecting God's Word.
Very advanced witnessing techniques are needed for these grouches. Let the adults handle them.
