Hot Topic (Columbia Mall, Grand Forks, ND)
Takes Manhattan
This should be pretty interesting, i don't care if takes manhattan played in a sweaty living room (they did there first show) I'll still go out and see them. It should be even more interesting they are playing all their stuff acoustic.
And the boys on the docks needed John for sure.
When they came to this country he opened the door.
He said "Man I'll tell ya, they don't like our kind.
Though it starts with a fist it must end with your mind."

Posted March 17th, 2009 01:57 AM IP I'm just wondering how this will work. Hot Topic is a really small store. I plan on going to see for this reason. we who are your closest friends feel the time has come to tell you that every Thursday we have been meeting, as a group to devise ways to keep you in perpetual uncertainty, frustration, discontent, and torture by neither loving you as much as you want, nor cutting you adrift. Your analyst is in on it, plus your boyfriend and your ex-husband; and we have pledged to disappoint you as long as you need us. In announcing our association, we realize we have placed in your hands a possible antidote against uncertainty--indeed against ourselves. But since our Thursday nights have brought us to a community of purpose, rare in itself, with you as the natural center, we feel hopeful you will continue to make unreasonable demands for affection if not as a consequence of your disastrous personality, then for the good of the collective.
looky!

Posted March 17th, 2009 02:15 PM IP If its like the other Hot Topic shows (Which is more than likely. They will be playing right outside the store, or very close.
In minot Stay out Late is doing the same thing. Its a nationwide Hot topic thing that was advertised on craigslist. The hardest thing isn't finding who we want to be, its being content with who we are.

Posted March 23rd, 2009 10:21 AM IP I'm working on it. Wedding season has begun, so it's hard to get a venue. I did get the 24th of April @ the Eagles, but now I'm trying to find a way to make a PA happen.

Posted March 23rd, 2009 10:42 AM IP If I didn't just sell mine I would have totally been down to use it. : (
let me know if we can help in any other way though. I know for sure that we'd love to play.
