A novel rather light and amusing,-a birthday gift and nothin' better to read...

Before that a historical novel, abou t a woman who really existed, around 1500.

She was a margrave's daughter who lived only 16 km from me.

It was very interesting and very well written.

I'm into the Middle Ages, lately.

I plan on buying a book by the Dalai Lama though.

I just finished a book by an undrcover policeman that inflitrated the Hells Angels motorcycle gang.
Strangely I was most appaled by the fact big time criminal operations spend most of there time ordering out for Fast Food like fried chicken and subs. Why?

Subs are foot long sandwiches...
Seems to me criminals choose to be criminals and the rewards of crime are quite modest proving that crime doesn't PAY very well for most people that choose crime.

Yeah, I do. Very moderately. Today I got invited to china duck and rice, and so I accepted.

I always eat what I'm given, like Buddhist monks with their alms bowl....
