Posted March 6th, 2006 09:07 PM IP Hi all!
My experience in Lousianna was amazing! Amazingly sad, amazingly heart-warming and amazingly uplifting. I gave it my all and did all I could to help working 12-14 hrs a day and I was BEAT when I returned home a week ago. I am just starting to feel somewhat normal again. The faces and stories of the people I tried to help will haunt me and inspire me for the rest of my days!!
Thank you ericka and Carol for helping with all the posts on the forum while I was away!
Welcome to anyone new who has found this wonderful forum and group of people while I was away!!

Posted March 12th, 2006 10:08 AM IP Hey Sharon, you're making me feel silly! You know I'd do anything for ya and am really grateful for what it is you are doing for mothers on methadone!
It took me a long time on the internet while I was pregnant with my first child to get all the information I needed to feel secure in my pregnancy and treatment. Options like this board were so not available and most clinics give you NO INFORMATION when you are pregnant. You are just told you can't taper and you can't be kicked off the clinic while you are pregnant. They don't go into the why's and how's. Ericka R Lear, CMA
