I've tried site builder and it makes a very prudy site but the shopping cart bits big time. Might as well call it non-existent the shipping function in it really just sucks. I need to stop now b/c pretty site with no functionality -- well it was my first stop and it sure did make me upset.

SiteBuilder, one of the Art and Photography ones, I think

closest one I could find to a vintage paper background (and it fails, miserably - but it's the best I could find at a quick glance.)

I hear you, Gail. This site building is a full time job. Did you find a zen template that you like?

Or, are you going to be super brave and try to work with the artsy template from site builder?

I used the 'Man Store' template #12541. It's a major pain. It has several css stylesheets instead of one. There is a lot to it compared to some of the other zen templates I've seen. It takes a lot more effort to find and replace code.

I hope you can find something that works for you. Here are some free paper backgrounds. Everything else seems to be the royalty free stuff.

Sorry - that is to let those of us who are volunteering to archive all the important posts, so that when we moooove over to the new pasture, we can have an archived section - Susan asked for volunteers to take certain sections so she wouldn't have to do it all by herself - I suggested to those that are archiving, that once they save something, put a note in at the bottom so that they can be alerted if someone else posts in that thread - that way, once we move over, we can just take a quick peek in each thread, look for that post:

*Pay no attention to the following*
Archived everything above this point

and then can pick up any straggler posts below that message.

....

I made this clear as mud again, didn't I? LOL
