Bitty (alias itty bitty kitty) had kittens, five of them, all gray….Two days later there were seven, two orange tabbies…the next day there were eight, she added a black one….now there are ten! A marble and a gray tabby were added to the mix, and no they are not all hers! She either stole or rescued them, I'm not sure.

Neighbors are a long way off, and the closest only has a male. I think they were dumped, poor things. We live at the end of a long dirt road but I have not seen any other cats lately so if there was a mom, she ran, (or worse) and if they were dumped at a day old then who ever did it really does not want to run into me! :furious:

First try at posting a photo, if it works you see many little cuties!

I still can't believe she went out and found them! It's here first and last batch before the vet visit (bad me didn't think she was old enough yet).

I do have two promised to good homes so far! they're almost two weeks now, so I get them for a little while longer!

Good night!

I have heard of resuce dogs but never a rescue cat. Please tell Bitty "thank you" from me for saving those cute babies! I sure wouldn't want to try to decide which one of the kittens I like best because they are all so darn cute!
Could we possibly get a picture of Bitty?

Good morning!

They are in my daughter’s room and she has a night shift, so I’ll get a photo up this after noon. Bitty looks like the little gray and white one that’s sticking her tongue out at the marble.

Thanks! Sheila

Bitty consented to a head shot,
only one though as she tried to lay on top of all the kittens at once. I think the look tells it all, “get that thing away from my babies!” She’s an indoor/outdoor cat with a no nonsense attitude.

I’ll put up more photos when the kittens get a little more mobile!

She is beautiful! She has that look of wisdom! Is she treating all the kittens the same, her natural ones, and the ones she adopted?

As far as I can tell she is. It makes no difference if I pick up one of smoke ones (which I almost positive are all hers) or one of the tabbies. She will give me that same look, like "those are mine! what do you think your doing with them?"

we are supplementing them with kitten formula. And will be introducing them to food as soon as possible.

What a sweet bunch of kitty babies, and Mom too. She's a very special Mom to rescue those little babies. They look to be the same exact age as Bitty's babies.

I have two kitties, guess I should post their pics.

I just looked at yours and they just beautiful!

I think bitty had hers for about two days before she started bringing the others in. She can go in and out of the window at will but I almost closed her in because I was afraid she would pack hers off.
they are almost three weeks and when I have some help (maybe Friday) I'll pack them all outside and takes some photos of them. They are at that too cute bouncy stage and boy can they move!
