1st XI
Away to Anstey & Glenfield.
Glen 236-7
A&G 71 a.o
Glen batted first amassing 236-7 with Vinnie top scoring with 91, backed up by James Bennett (61). In response Anstey and Glenfield were all out for 71 with John Ainsworth taking 4 wickets (4-11) and Rich Wilson 3.
Glen won by a convincing 164 runs to shoot them back up to 5th in the table

Glen 214-6
Anstey and Glenfield batted first and amassed a formidable 213-5 on a good batting track, assisted by some loose bowling and sloppy fielding. (Jake Dutton 2-72, Tim Andrews 2-40, Tim Odams 0-28, Dave Pitcher 1-35)
In reply Glen got off to a solid start (Sodhi 36), scoring at a decent rate all the way through. After losing Collis early on, Dave Ball came in and continued his good form from the week before scoring 53, ably assisted by Arpan (27). The game looked destined for a draw before Josh (44 n.o) hit 16 in one over to bring their total in sight. Requiring 6 from the final over, glen scored 3 singles from the first 3 balls before Dave Pitcher was stumped which brought Jake to the crease, two came from the next ball leaving scores level before a very quick single was scrambled from the last ball for a dramatic victory 5th victory on the trot.
