1st XI
Rained off
2nd XI
Home to Leicester Ivanhoe
Ivanhoe batted first 146 – 8
Great glen 73 all out.
On wet wicket we finally won a toss and put Ivanhoe into bat. Some tidy bowling kept them down to 146 runs, a respectable score given the conditions, but one that could have been less had we hung on to all our catches. Glen then got off to a disastrous start with skipper Collis going for a suicidal run in the 3rd over and being run out for 3. After that a disappointing batting display saw Great Glen bowled out for 73 to finish the match with less points than they would have got if it had been rained off!
