Probably not. As per Amazon, the book is about:

A frightening and powerful story of the loss of freedom and identity in a totalitarian world, V for Vendetta takes place in an alternate future in which Germany wins WWII and Britain becomes a fascist state. A vigilante named "V" stalks the streets of London trying to free England of its ideological chains. Moore's poetic language coupled with Lloyd's eerie, washed-out color art makes this a captivating read sure to stay with you.

I am full of earth, You are heaven's worth. I am stained with dirt prone to depravity. You are everything that is bright and clean, the antonym of me. You are divinity. But a certain sign of grace is this: From the broken earth flowers come up pushing through the dirt. You are holy, holy, holy all heaven cries "Holy, holy God." You are holy, holy, holy I want to be holy like you are.

Yeth I am. But the only one I could make it to is the 9:10 one since I'm on the late shift this week. It could be a late night.

Is this the theater in the mall with the DMV and the Indian restaurant?

Saw the Fantastic Four last night. For an non-comic book fan, I thought it was pretty good. Lots of blatent product placement, and short fight scenes (I thought--I didn't time them), but a fun movie nonetheless.

I saw this at the video store and almost rented it.

Now I understand why Kapler wanted to come back to the Sox so badly... And I have more respect for Ichiro & Matsui.

Bruce Lee vs. Kareem Abdul Jabar is still one of the all time best movie moments ever.

What did you guys think of 'Hitchhiker's Guide'?

The more I think about it the more I like the movie. I have a feeling that a lot of it is lost on those not familiar with British culture and government. The book is a riot and gets better as one gets older.

I read the book right before I went to see the movie. The book was awesome. You should all go out and read it right now, especially if you like wacky British humor.

The movie was a good movie, but in my opinion, it was too condensed to really capture the brilliance of the book. But that's ok; it just means that if you saw the movie before reading the book, the book hasn't been spoiled for you. And like Starship Troopers, even if it didn't do the book justice, it's still a hoot to watch.

Yes. I haven't read it myself, but a science fiction-loving coworker has, and he says that the book is mostly about politics and what it means to be in the military. The bug-killing was mostly in the background.

Same thing with I Robot. It's very loosely based on the book. The books are so much better than the movie.

Carrying the conversation about the new Superman movie, Phil, what do you think of this? You're the resident Superman expert. Is this movie going to be spitting in the face of Superman past or is it going to be true to form and awesome. Or does any of that matter because you will spooge in your pants over anything with the Superman symbol on it? Honestly, I've only seen the one preview, so I have no opinion, but I figured you would.

Let's face it, Superman was always a little on the gay side of the superhero spectrum. I mean the guy has all this power and instead of professional sports, he becomes a 'reporter'. He is constantly cruising closets, telephone booths and rest stops....

After a long time of putting it off I finally watched Team America.

And in short it gets a five yawn award. Maybe W shyped it up to much, perhaps I need more than puppets having sex, or perhaps it was poorly written with obvious gags and even more obvious punchlines.

That said Pajama Kim and Hans Blix was a memorable scene. Um and I did laugh at Matt Damon.

The rest of the time I spent wondering why the Thunderballs was not a bigger hit with world wide audiences.

That's going to be sweet. I remember watching He-Man all the time. The only things I don't remember are any of the plots, or the characters, or pretty much anything else.

I do remember wanting to run around in my underwear like He-Man, but my parents wouldn't let me.
