Posted May 3rd, 2012 09:09 AM IP Welcome Sudeep,
In the US "daughter-in-law" means daughter by marriage, in this case, since she is only 30 months old, I assume you mean daughter?
Regardless, you have come to the right place! My son with GT is 8 years old. There are many adults living with GT and parents with children with GT on this board that have a wealth of experiences to share. Without any specific information about your daughter, as far as GT goes, she should be able to live a very “normal” life with some precautions.
Best wishes,
Tami

Posted May 3rd, 2012 12:25 PM IP Hi Tami,
She is my niece. Thanks for your support giving to the people who are suffering with GT. After long search Recently i came to know about this forum, People in this site are giving good support. After my first post i got very quick response from you and ankur, I had a telephonic conversation with him and he shared valuable information with me.
My sister (Baby's mother) and other family members they are not completely aware about GT. She is always worrying about my niece. I am always trying to give the moral support. Now onwards i can give the complete support to my family members with help of your people.

Posted May 3rd, 2012 04:39 PM IP Hi Sudeep,
I have a son, who is now 20, with GT. I have been reading your posts and completely agree with all the advice and knowledge Tami has shared with you. Tami's experiences with her young son are similar to my experiences with my son ..... many bumps and bruises, many nosebleeds and mouth bleeds, occasional joint bleeds. These experiences are very scary when they are happening but I have found the calmer and more relaxed you are with your little one the better you can handle these times. It's very important to have physicians (primary care, hematologist and ear, nose and throat doctors) who you trust and are comfortable with. Most importantly, no two nosebleeds or bruises seem to be the same with GT. Maybe your little one will have a hard bump to the nose resulting in a nosebleed and it won't bleed much at all. Then she could have a nosebleed that starts with a gentle sneeze that is very difficult to control.
I wish you well and send warm thoughts your way.
Missy
