My girlfriend has just decided to break up with me after 10 months of being together,we spent a week together only a week and a half ago so i am totally confused.she keeps saying her heads fucked up and she just needs a friend but i reckon theres more to it.who said women were easier than being with men???

I'm very sorry to hear your sad news! I hope you are able to find out what is really going on to give yourself some peace of mind.

It's harder for a woman to be with a woman than with a man, because we're such emotional beings, and because of our hormones, we're murder to be with. Why do you think men complain about women's mood swings so much? lol. We also connect more with another woman, in an emotional and sensual sense, so if/when we break up, one always seems stronger than the oher through it, and the weaker always breaks down. I should know!
Give her time and hopefully she'll miss you and realise what she's lost and come back. Good luck hun.

That's the one thing about relationships that scare me, getting hurt! It doesn't stop me, but I always say in the end I won't let anyone else hurt me, and then I do! Maybe one day i'll learn lol.

Thats the whole reason it took me so long to commit to her,before her i never did serious,i trusted no one basically never let anyone close.her nans got cancer and is in hospital quite ill at the moment ive offered to be there for her but were just seeming more and more distant.

It always puts a strain on a relationship if one side of the relationship has relitives who are ill. It messes them up and it messes the relationship up. My girls mum is dying and her sis has just been rushed to hosp too. Do as we did have a long talk in a beer garden, be honist to each other. You may find at the moment all she wants is companionship till things settle, then she may comit to you. Being there for her counts for a lot, but it takes a lot out of you too...
