Best deal for a $7000 used car?
Ive been looking for a used car in the SF Bay Area for the past 2 weeks, in the $6500 to $7000 range using mostly craigslist and also visiting local used car dealer lots. I've come across a bunch of ugly cars that are poorly maintained aesthetics-wise, and who knows mechanical-wise. I saw 4 honda civics, an acura integra, and a ford escape, ranging from banged up bumper, malfunctioning doors and windows, dirty/stained carpets, cigarette burned interiors, missing hood latches, passenger doors that wont open properly, etc Most have about 110,000 to 138,000 miles on it and claim no engine trouble so far.
