I'm just a beginner in Tarot (although a TRUE believer for many many years) and I am still looking for good books on the topic... Dave - any suggestions?

Sure.
Both by Paul Foster Case:
"Intro. to the Study of Tarot"
"The Tarot: A Key to the Wisdom of the Ancients"
Whip through those (his writing style is easy to follow) and if you want to figure out Qabalah and how they relate, pick up the aforementiond Dion Fortune book.
All of those would be good prep for Scottish Rite, BTW, if you choose to pursue that. Dave Mavity

Now here is the real tenuous part. It has been reported that The Wachowski Brothers are members of the OTO and that the Matrix trilogy is full of OTO symbolism. Yes/No/Maybe - I don't know. |
Certainly possible, but remember that both Masonry and the OTO, as part of the Western Mystery Tradition, are going to share a hell of a lot of symbolism. There's a lot of Masonry in those movies, particularly the first one.

Well, the Thoth Deck was. His concepts, Harris' artwork.

Posted February 15th, 2010 10:19 PM IP I have a Thoth deck and I like it. I find it "stronger" than other decks I have/had.
Actually, I have many tarot decks. Ihave 2 that I do readings with and the rest I just picked up for the artwork.
