"Blythe tae meet, Wae tae part, Blythe tae meet aince mair" This is known as the Bon-Accord toast - "Happy to meet, sorrowful to part, happy to meet once again." "Bon-Accord" was the password used by the citizens of Aberdeen in 1308 when they rose up, killed the English garrison and captured the town for Robert the Bruce. Bon-Accord is now the motto of the City of Aberdeen. Part of closing in the first, and the final tiast at the festive board proposed by the M of C (JW). I'm pretty sure it's the same in Peter's jurisdiction. Practical experience is the best teacher

It's the Tyler's toast here and I have only heard it after the Installation Meal. But it was to interesting to not the history of the toast. Presumably there's a Masonic connection... I'll have to try find out unless anyone knows out there.
