Posted 9th June 2009 03:05 IP Hello peeps
I read today in the Daily Mail that they are testing a new GCSE on 'thinking and reasoning' by getting pupils to weigh up evidence for and against supernatural phenomena during a new 70 hour course. They may well also discuss popular astrology, conspiracy theories, reincarbation, euthanasia, drugs and alcohol abuse, animal experiments and civil disobidience.
Personally I would prefer the schools to teach my kids about History, Geography and the likes and leave this sort of study for when they go to university or the likes.
What do others think?
Regards
Stuart
