Anularius is an interesting planet. There is one large ring of land at the northern end of the planet while the rest of the world that is visible is covered in water. From about the equator down, is a thick, heavy, impenetrable mist that nobody has ever been able to go through. The mist has been spreading since the creation of the planet, and it has now split the Ring of Land into four quarters. One of these new "continents," Dodrans, is where the story takes place. Rumors have been spreading through the land that the only way to combat the mist is through the Ring of Dreams. You begin in one of the 5 major towns in the land. In each of these towns, at anytime after a child's 14th birthday, the child may travel to the town shrine, and try to pass the trials that enable them to claim one of the magical rings from the towns. These rings are the only things that can protect the adventurers should they dare seek out the Ring of Dreams. The towns are as follows:
Accendi--Town of Fire--This town lies on the western fringe of the continent next to a dormant volcano. Mastercraftsman are abundant in this town.
Bulla--Port Town of Water--Bulla is on the outermost edge of the ring of land, on the Dodriatic Sea. Healing arts are taught here.
Euria--Town of Wind--located in the "center" of the land mass. Home to the purest air.
Gramineya--Town of Wood--Located close to the inner ring of the land. Home to most musicians.
Solum--Town of Earth--Located on eastern fringe of continent. Here they teach people to be in sync with the land.
NOTE: There are more towns, places, and elements than listed here, and you can specialize in more than one once you find the ring.

Personality: Dewy is a rather Timid young boy. Although he can sometimes let his cusiosity get the better of him. He was able to cast many spells before any of the people who live near him.
Backstory if you wish: While growing up Dewy was teased by many for the way he acted and his extreme Shyness. Usually he ignores the others but at one point he snapped and nearly killed another child. Ever since he's been somewhat of a loner. After reaching age 14 Dewy was the first to rush to volunteer to for the journey for the rings...

Dewy: "I see," says the old man. "Very well, proceed into the inner sanctum." He waves his hand. You see a ring on his hand and then see the statue slide out of the way. The room inside is filled with a blue glow.

Dewy: The ring starts to glow even more! The pain is so intense that your eyes start to water. You think maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. Then you realize that the outer part of the ring isn't hot at all! Now, your eyes are sraming with tears.

You close your eyes and yank on the ring. instead of the ring coming off, you feel a cold sensation in your hand. You open your eyes and see you are holding the blade of a dark blue-bladed saber! You hear a grinding noise and then a large "PWOOSH" behind you.

Dewy: DD1 rears back and Dewy slices it twice! It falls to the floor...and then four slightly lighter blobs start moving around. DD2 slaps Dewy from behind.

Dewy: The DD3 is cut in half by one sword strike, and the second part of the combo cuts the DD4 behind it. DD3 and DD4 divide again. DD2 squishes itself onto the floor and slides under your feet. DD5 and 6 jump on you for an attack.

The chamber is empty and the walls are smooth. DDs 6-10 pounce on you. 9 and 10 slice themselves on the edge of your blade and divide again. They're getting pretty small now. Then, you feel yourself being lifted in the air and slammed into the ceiling. You are dropped to the floor again. It seems as if the DD2 smashed you into the air. It wiggles with what I guess is laughter.

Dewy: You leap in the air and land on 2 little ones. You slash DD6 with your Saber. More division occurs. The DD2 watches you jump and stretches itself far above you to the ceiling. You see a glimmer of gold as its bottom half leaves the ground and it sticks to the ceiling. The rest of the DDsall jump on top of you at once, then bounce off. Your MP Guage fills faster due to the many hits! Looks like this isn't going so well. The ring on your finger makes a soft ping and you feel as if you're becoming more focused. You can now use a three hit combo while you're focused!
Abe: 32%, Focus | DD7: 100%, DD8: 100%, DD11:100%, DD12: 100% DD15: 100%, DD16: 100%, DD 17: 100%, DD18: 100%, DD19: 100%, DD20: 100%, DD2: 100%

Sarina: You enter the chamber and see that there's a ring suspended in the center. A red aura surrounds it.
Findel: You step outside your house and make your way to the town temple. A strong breeze starts up, but you're so used to it that it doesn't phase you. All you're concerned about is getting the Wind Ring. You step inside the temple. In the dark, you can kinda make out a lone, silent woman sitting right in the middle.
