Posted October 18th, 2005 08:16 PM IP Meh, Majora's Mask isn't really as epic as Ocarina of Time, in my opinion.
Let's see...
1) Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory(X-Box)
2) Final Fantasy VII(Ps1)
3) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time(Nintendo 64)
4) Breakdown(X-Box)
5) Halo 2(X-Box)
Honorable Mentions
Final Fantasy X(Ps2)
Mario 64(Nintendo 64)
Not that many have played Breakdown... It's a highly innovative game. It created a whole different way of playing 1st person with its hand-to-hand combat. http://www.last.fm/user/DreamofSound

Posted December 22nd, 2005 09:41 PM IP 1. Pokemon Red/Blue: Yep this game I still play. Classic that speaks for itself.
2. Super Mario Kart (SNES): This game is WAY better than its sequel on the N64. Very good game on the SNES.
3. Final Fantasy X: Ok so the ending wasn't all that great. But I liked every other aspect. I can't think on my feet fast enough so the turn-based system is better for me over the ATB system.
4. Contra (NES): Yes this was my very first game ever played. It was at my uncle mike's house in franconia-springfield,VA. Everytime I went there I played it. From age 4 to 9, 5 years of unlimited shooting and super, uber jumping goodness.
5. Super Mario Bros 3 (NES also in the special all-star package on the SNES) The only raccoon tail that makes you fly. If you haven't played it odds are you at least saw that one dude beat the jap. version in about 11 minutes I think.
Honorable Mentions:
Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past.: This game for all of you zelda fans know that this adventure/strategy game was very well done. I'll even go as far as to say that it beats all of its descendents. If it was in 3D it could probably save the Zelda series yet. For now pray for the next installment that was supposed to have been done 2 years ago.
Chrono Trigger: If your not a Final Fantasy fan then your are most definately a Chrono fan. In the early years of the SNES this was the only other game series (the other game: Chrono Cross) to match Final Fantasy's popularity.
Super Mario World: This helped bring about the transfer from the 8-bit era to 16-bit era. It is a very well made game and with many secrets could keep ya busy for awhile.
