Can somebody let me know what the selection process is for this season ...
so far I have failed to be selected once ( ok maybe not the best player but I have turned out on a regular basis for a number of seasons )
i noted from the match reports that it was unfortunate that the stiffs match against warwick Uni was called off as we had a full squad available . That suggests we have struggled on some weekends..
maybe the new captain has a new pool of players from which to choose from ... we do appear to have a number of new members joining the club and getting a regular game.
If the concept is now one of " must win " for both teams so we pick the best players every week , then so be it ... unfortunately its not working as we have only won 1 game in the stiffs...
It used to be to try to get all club members a game .
Its a shame if we our overlooking long standing members .. hopefully these new members are all members of the 100 club!

hello big man,
just let john know that you are available with a phone call or text and take it from there,
i will say that most of the new members are at nets each week but do not get a regular game,i know that it is difficult for some to get to nets so it is even more important to let the captains know that you are available.

I did get a call from Bucks , but he wanted Simon to play for him on Saturday ...

that was for the first team you doughnut , stewey smith and jay are the lads you need to talk to however i will tell them that you are available , it may be prudent to give them a call .

Thanks for the thoughts , but i have told both Jay and Stuart that I am available for all matches , but never had a call ... so i am not holding my breath .
Good luck on saturday ...
