One of the fastest growing creature legends of recent time is El Chupacabra, or "goat sucker". The creature is found mostly in Mexico , South and Central America and some southern North American states.
In 2004 a creature was found dead in Elmendorf Texas. It is widely known simply as the Elmendorf Beast. It took scientists almost a year to release an explanation of the creatures origin.
Another similar creature was found in Coleman Texas.
So far the only explanation is that these are Coyotes with mange.
Similar animals have been found in Lufkin as well as many other Texas towns.
